Project Overview

With a vision to become a leading institution in practical and modern technical education in Northern Vietnam, Thai Nguyen University of Technology partnered with ETEK to implement a state-of-the-art training system simulating an automated bottling production line integrated with a dual-arm robot.

This solution not only modernized the university's practice facilities but also created a learning environment closely aligned with real-world manufacturing technologies, providing students with a strong foundation to enter the Industry 4.0 workforce.

Training Solution Provided

ETEK delivered a comprehensive training system that accurately simulates the bottling production process found in smart factories. The system includes:

• Automatic bottle and cap feeding

• Gripping, assembling, and filling using a dual-arm robot (Yumi) with 7 degrees of freedom per arm

• Integrated camera system for real-time product quality inspection

• Defective product detection and removal, with accepted products transferred to a conveyor for packaging

• PLC integration allowing students to program, control, and troubleshoot the system based on real-life scenarios

The entire process replicates an actual industrial automation workflow, enabling students not only to observe but also to directly operate, monitor, and optimize the system as if working in a real factory.
