ETEK is pleased to share a meaningful milestone in its journey of accompanying the development of the automation sector in Vietnam.
Accordingly, on December 18, 2025, the Vietnam Association of Supporting Industries (VASI) officially entrusted Mr. Nguyễn Trọng Thưởng with the role of Head of the Automation Committee of VASI for the term through 2027. Mr. Nguyễn Trọng Thưởng is currently the CEO of ETEK Automation Solutions Joint Stock Company and Vice Chairman of VASI.

 

Born in 1979, Mr. Nguyễn Trọng Thưởng graduated from Hanoi University of Science and Technology and completed a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering Research at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand. Prior to joining ETEK, he held various management positions at international industrial corporations such as ABB and Sumitomo.

He joined ETEK in 2012 and was appointed Chief Executive Officer in 2019. Throughout his leadership, Mr. Nguyễn Trọng Thưởng has consistently demonstrated a holistic mindset and long-term strategic vision, focusing on sustainable development, corporate restructuring, product portfolio development, and business and market strategy planning, thereby delivering positive results for ETEK.

Mr. Nguyễn Trọng Thưởng’s appointment as Head of the Automation Committee of VASI not only recognizes his dedication, practical experience, and professional expertise in the field of automation, but also reflects VASI’s confidence in the active contributions of enterprises within the supporting industries ecosystem.
