After the resounding success of its first season, the Automation Machine Builder Award (AMBA) – the national competition in Industrial Automation Machine Design – is officially back with the theme: “Automation Machines in Semiconductor Manufacturing.”AMBA Season 2 is a nationwide academic playground for engineering students – where innovative ideas are challenged, developed, and brought closer to real-world manufacturing applications.

Total prize vaLue: VND 150,000,000, including:
- First Prize: VND 50,000,000
- Second Prize: VND 30,000,000
- Two Third Prizes: VND 15,000,000 each
- Two Fourth Prizes: VND 10,000,000 each

Beyond the prizes, finalist teams will have opportunities to Network and exchange ideas with industry experts, Intern at leading enterprises in Vietnam and abroad, Turn their design ideas into real products with corporate mentorship

Eligibility & Format

The competition is open to all engineering students across Vietnam.Teams will go through a complete development journey – from proposing solutions and detailed design to factory visits and the grand finale.

Competition Timeline

- October 2025: Topic Announcement & Registration Opens

- November 2025: Opening Ceremony & Solution Proposal Phase

- December 2025 – January 2026: Detailed Design & Factory Visits

- February 2026: Grand Finale
