On June 29, 2025, VinFast officially inaugurated its electric vehicle manufacturing plant at the Vung Ang Economic Zone (Ha Tinh), marking an important step in bringing the Vietnamese automotive brand to the international stage.

With its modern scale and leading-edge technology in the region, the VinFast Vung Ang plant is set to become the largest electric vehicle manufacturing hub in Southeast Asia, contributing to the green transition, creating thousands of new jobs, and positively supporting economic development in Central Vietnam.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Vo Trong Hai – Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Ha Tinh Provincial People’s Committee – congratulated and highly appreciated the role and contribution of the VinFast Vung Ang plant to the local socio-economic development and stability. He stated:

As one of the providers of automated painting lines and automated logistics systems for VinFast’s Vung Ang factory, Tan Phat ETEK is proud to contribute to the establishment of one of the region’s most advanced electric vehicle manufacturing plants, accompanying VinFast on its journey to create sustainable value for Vietnam’s automotive industry.

In this project, Tan Phat ETEK deployed an automated painting line featuring robotic spray technology, clean standard painting booths, advanced drying systems, and emission treatment solutions, helping to optimize productivity, ensure consistent surface quality, and minimize painting defects during production. At the same time, the automated logistics system, including in-factory AGV/AMR transport and a pick-to-light system, helps to optimize material flow, reduce operating costs, and shorten search and delivery times between production stages.

All systems provided by Tan Phat ETEK are designed to international standards, easily expandable and upgradable, and capable of seamless data integration, supporting VinFast in operating a stable, efficient production system aligned with the goals of green, smart, and sustainable industrial development in the long term.
