To meet the demand of expanding project scale in Hanoi and northern provinces, we are currently seeking a Process Engineer for In-House Transportation to participate in implementing smart logistics systems and internal transport solutions developed by ETEK.

1. Job Description

The Process Engineer for In-House Transportation plays a key role in optimizing and developing internal logistics processes within manufacturing plants. This role combines technical knowledge, analytical thinking, and innovative problem-solving to ensure efficient material flow, reduce waste, and enhance overall productivity.
 

Key Responsibilities:

Process Analysis and Optimization:

• Analyze current in-house transportation processes in the factory, from receiving raw materials, warehousing, and line feeding to delivering finished goods.

• Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities in internal logistics flows.

• Propose and implement process optimization solutions, including the use of automation technologies, robots, AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles), AS/RS systems, and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

• Design and simulate efficient plant layouts and material flows to support manufacturing operations.
   

Project Implementation and Management:

• Lead or participate in in-house logistics improvement projects from ideation and design to execution and final acceptance.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Production, Maintenance, IT, and R&D to ensure alignment and efficiency of solutions.

• Supervise the installation, configuration, and trial operations of new internal transportation systems and equipment.
   

Standard Development and Maintenance:

• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for in-house transportation activities.

• Ensure compliance with workplace safety and environmental regulations during transportation processes.

• Conduct periodic reviews and updates to maintain and continuously improve internal transport operations.
   

Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Collect and analyze logistics performance data (e.g., cycle times, error rates, transportation costs).

• Use analytical tools to generate insights, forecasts, and improvement recommendations.

• Prepare regular reports on in-house logistics performance and improvement outcomes.
   

Training and Technical Support:

• Train and guide operational staff on new logistics systems and internal transportation technologies.

• Provide technical support and resolve issues related to internal transport systems.
   

2. Job Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
   

Experience:

• 3–5 years of experience as a process engineer, logistics engineer, or similar role in a manufacturing environment, especially in plants with high automation levels.

• Hands-on experience with AGV systems in factory settings.

• Solid understanding of fulfillment processes such as receiving, warehousing, picking, packing, and internal delivery in manufacturing or warehousing environments.

• Proven experience in process improvement or logistics automation projects is a strong advantage.
   

Technical Knowledge:

• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.

• Familiarity with AGVs, AMRs, industrial robots, forklifts, AS/RS systems, and other logistics automation equipment.

• Understanding of WMS, ERP systems, and logistics simulation software.

• Background in industrial automation and system integration is highly preferred.
   

Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficiency in design and simulation software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, FlexSim, Arena, Visual Components).

• Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

• Good English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking) are a plus.
