ETEK SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED THE PROJECT: "PROVIDING ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC TRAINING EQUIPMENT FOR TECHNICAL TRAINING INSTITUTIONS IN CAMBODIA"
2024 marks a significant turning point in ETEK's education and vocational training business. The project, titled "Providing Specialized Training Equipment for Electricity and Electronics to Technical Training Institutions in Cambodia," funded by the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training of Cambodia with capital from the Asian Development Bank, represents a crucial first step towards ETEK's global expansion.

Introduction:

ETEK successfully won the bid to supply vocational training equipment for electricity and electronics to five universities and technical training facilities in Cambodia.

Project scale:

The project is funded by the Asian Development Bank with a total investment of over 5 millions USD in the education sector in Cambodia. The investment is divided equally to 5 universities and vocational training facilities across the country:

Regional Polytechnic Institute of Techo Sen Svay Rieng
National Technical Training Institute ( NTTI ) for Technical and Vocational Education and Training ( TVET)
Institute of Technology of Cambodia (ITC)
Battambang Institute of Technology (BIT)
National Polytechnic Institute of Angkor (NPIA)

Investor Requirements:

  1. Area and Space: The training room must be large enough to accommodate equipment and tools, allowing students to move freely during practice.
  2. Equipment and Tools: It is necessary to fully equip the room with the essential equipment and tools for each specific field of study, ensuring their quality and accuracy.
  3. Safety Measures: Safety regulations and equipment (such as fire extinguishers and emergency exit systems) must be in place to ensure student safety during practice.
  4. Electrical and Water Systems: Ensure that there is sufficient electricity and water for machines, equipment, and practice processes.
  5. Instructional Materials: Instructional materials, textbooks, and safety instructions must be available for students to refer to during the lesson.
  6. Organizational Space: Areas are designated for lecturers to provide instruction, discuss with the students and exchange ideas during and after the lesson.
  7. Management and Supervision: A teacher or lecturer must be assigned to manage and supervise practical activities to ensure accuracy and efficiency in the learning process.
  8. Supporting Technology: Technologies such as computers, simulation software, and interactive boards should be used to support the learning and practice process.
  9. Maintenance and Preservation: Procedures for the maintenance and preservation of equipment and tools need to be established to ensure they remain in good condition.

System of Practice Rooms:

  • Electrical Practice Room
  • Renewable Energy Practice Room
  • Industrial Electricity Practice Room
  • Electronics Practice Room
  • Electrical Machine and Installation Practice Room
  • Electrical Systems Practice Room
The practice rooms are equipped with more than 5,000 different design modules created by ETEK engineers, as well as thousands of standard equipment from renowned global brands such as Bosch, Schneider, Mitsubishi, and Delta.

Project Implementation Process

This project is considered a key strategic initiative in ETEK's international expansion, so we prioritize closely adhering to the planned schedule to ensure the accuracy of the project's progress and quality.
With extensive project implementation experience and a skilled technical team, ETEK completed this project in just 6 months, covering all stages from ideation, design, evaluation, and approval to testing before officially entering mass production.
The entire process of production, quality control, packaging, and product transportation was carried out smoothly and accurately, meeting the schedule with only 45 days for completion. Over 300 cargo containers and 40 equipment transport vehicles were efficiently coordinated and deployed for installation in Cambodia.

Customer Feedback

The project was encouraged, visited, directed and highly appreciated by the PROJECT MANAGEMENT and CAMBODIA MINISTRY OF LABOR in terms of implementation capacity, working attitude and quality provided by ETEK.
"This project is very valuable and meaningful to us in building a training program. Previously, we did not have demo equipment for practice. But after the project is completed, I believe it will be our difference to attract more students to study. Thereby improving the quality of human resources, meeting the requirements of the market" - Mr. BOUN SOVISITH - Head of the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics, Kosomak Polytechnic Institute
