With the orientation of "long-term development with customers, built on technical expertise and sustainable responsibility," we are proud to continue our collaboration with a leading Japanese electronics partner on the Paper Roll Assembly Machine project – a challenging endeavor that stands as a testament to the trust and strong bond between our two companies
A Challenging Task for a New Product Model
The Paper Roll Assembly Machine is designed to serve a completely new product model. This is a highly automated system that requires a seamless multi-step assembly process, while also optimizing production space.
Crucially, every component must be assembled with utmost precision. Even a minor error in an early stage can disrupt the entire downstream process. Each step – from part separation and orientation to final inspection – demands high levels of accuracy and stability.
Key Features of the Machine
The machine is engineered to handle multiple continuous automatic operations with high precision, including:
- Automatic Part Separation and Feeding
The system employs bowl feeders or custom-designed dedicated feeders for each type of component. These devices accurately separate and deliver parts to the correct positions in a predefined order, enhancing speed and minimizing errors caused by misfeeds.
- Continuous Assembly of 9 Parts into a Complete Unit
This process requires precisely engineered positioning jigs that ensure each part is held in the correct standard position. Robots are programmed to pick components from the jigs and assemble them in exact locations, ensuring no misalignment, tilting, or damage – even when operating in small, narrow, or delicate areas.
- Automatic Greasing
The machine features an integrated automatic greasing head that applies the correct amount of grease at the right location, avoiding both shortages and excess.
- Automatic Screw Driving
The screw fastening system operates under controlled torque to ensure appropriate tightness without damaging thin or plastic components, while maintaining the mechanical integrity of the assembled unit.
- Sensor-Based Inspection System
Throughout operation, sensors are strategically placed at key stages to continuously monitor each assembly step. The system can detect issues such as missing components, misalignments, or operational errors and will trigger alerts and halt operations to prevent error propagation across the production line.
Our Solution: Dedicated from Design to Handover
To meet the stringent demands of our Japanese customer, our engineering team proactively:
- Thoroughly studied the new product model, clarifying every critical point in the assembly process.
- Utilized advanced design and simulation software to visualize each movement, testing operation logic in a virtual environment before real-world fabrication.
- Carefully calculated each mechanical structure, from part separation to final inspection, ensuring maximum precision.
- Developed a detailed installation and trial run plan, with close supervision by highly skilled technicians who monitored and evaluated progress daily, ready to respond quickly to any arising issues.
Quality Commitment – Responsibility in Every Detail
Though this is a single machine, for us it represents more than just a contract – it is a commitment to quality and a promise to uphold the trust of a long-standing client.
Every stage reflects our team's full sense of responsibility – not just to meet expectations, but to exceed them in aesthetics, stability, and long-term operation.
Continuing the Journey Together
The Paper Roll Assembly Machine project marks not only a new milestone in our partnership but also a strong affirmation of our commitment to long-term collaboration and sustainable growth based on technology and trust.
We firmly believe that every project delivered with responsibility and dedication helps expand our partnership – stronger, deeper, and more enduring.
